Most people are well aware of the Chatuchak weekend market. It’s one of the most famous of markets in Thailand among locals and tourists alike, one of the busiest, and has stalls that offer everything from prosaic to exotic. It is reached by way of the Mo Chit BTS, which allows not only extremely close access to the market on the weekends, but also allows a great overview of the complex which gives everyone a great idea of just how diverse and expansive this marketplace happens to be.

Office Rents in Bangkok cheap on the world stage

In March this year the international consulting firm CBRE conducted its latest Global Prime Office Occupancy Costs survey and of the 126 major cities they surveyed, Bangkok ranked 109th, thereby making it among the cheapest in terms of office space in the world.

TAT and Thai Air Asia launch Paint the Sky with Amazing Thailand design contest

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is partnering with Thai Air Asia in launching the "Paint the Sky with Amazing Thailand" design contest, following the success of last year's co-branding partnership in which the airline wrapped its newest Airbus A320 aircraft with the logo of the 2015 Discover Thainess campaign and decorated its interior with images of the "12 Hidden Gems" destinations.

Taxpayer information to be shared

In what it claims to be an attempt to streamline e-tax payments, the Finance Ministry recently announced plans to amend the Revenue Code so that Revenue Department officials will be able to share information on taxpayers with other state agencies.
