Mr. Narongchai Wongthanavimok (third from left), Executive Vice President, Finance and Accounting, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), recently presided over the opening of THAI’s 7th Annual Smart Energy Fair at THAI’s Head Office on behalf of THAI’s Acting President. Out of concern for environmental and safety issues, THAI held a two day fair to increase awareness of efficient energy consumption. Dr. Sumet Tantivejakul (fourth from left), Secretary General, Chaipattana Foundation, presented a speech on THAI’s efficient use of energy, which is one of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s Royal Projects. Also present was Flt. Lt. Werasak Wiroonpetch (fifth from left), THAI Executive Vice President, Operations Department, and Mr. Ohm Planichaya (second from left), THAI Vice President, Human Resources Department.
THAI, as the national carrier of Thailand, remains continually dedicated to implementing energy efficiency it its daily operations. THAI first initiated its Smart Energy Fair in 2006, which has been held annually on a continual basis.
