Gyproc collaborates with Department of Skill Development to raise construction standards in Thailand

Thai Gypsum Products Public Company Limited, the manufacturer of gypsum innovations over 45 years and of the leading brand “Gyproc,” collaborated with the Department of Skill Development to host the “Training program for enhancing gypsum wall and ceiling installers to international standard.” The training session was presided over by M.L. Puntarik Samiti, Director of the Department of Skill Development, who presented certificates to participants at Air Force Convention Hall.
The objective of the training program is to raise the skill of Thai gypsum wall and ceiling installers to International standard. The program comprised a series of special activities, including an educational practical installation session, the Gyproc Installer Club Contest, which focused on the installation of walls for theater room applications, and the Gyproc Installer Club Party, to thank guests and enhance relationships between Gyproc and gypsum installers, as well as grow brand recognition of Gyproc’s leading construction products and solutions.
Gyproc training Center established training center to provide wall and ceiling system installation training for gypsum installers in Thailand since 2002. The center is located close to Thai Gypsum’s plaster production plant in the province of Ayutthaya and has over 500 square meters of dedicated training space. Gyproc theories and practical teachings are based on international training standards, comparable to all of Gyproc’s training schools around the world; its mission is to help raise trainee installers to professional level ahead of AEC in 2015.
