Honda Launches the all-new Honda Jazz to fit with Digital Lifestyles
Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has launched the all-new Honda Jazz that will create a new definition of the 5-door hatchback. Its marketing communications are targeted at GEN ME, the modern generation who have diverse lifestyles and use online communications in this current digital age. The all-new Honda Jazz has been developed and redesigned with a sporty style, from the front headlights to the rear LED taillights, with a spacious interior and comfortable cabin. It can be used for multi-utility with the Ultra Seat, which is an outstanding specification for its adjustable seats. The all-new Honda Jazz is powered by a 117-horsepower, 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine, which is E85 compatible, that works with a new Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) developed under Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology. It is also equipped with an Eco Assist system to save fuel. The all-new Honda Jazz offers advanced multi-function with smart technology and full safety standards. The all-new Honda Jazz will excite GEN ME with six variants priced from 555,000 to 754,000 Baht and two new colors – Attract Yellow Pearl and Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic. Honda expects to achieve sales of 20,000 units within one year.

The all-new Honda Jazz, the third generation, has been developed with a trendy design in every dimension to fit with all lifestyles and fulfill the multi-tasking requirements of the new generation in this digital age.”
The all-new Honda Jazz is ready to set a new definition of a hatchback in Thailand due to four outstanding factors:
1. Meets the Needs of All Lifestyles (Multi-Function): The all-new Honda Jazz is equipped with 7-inch Advanced Touch Audio that supports a wireless smartphone interface, HDMI audio and video connection, Voice Control function, “Siri Eyes-Free Mode” (for iPhone4s and later), and connects with the HondaLink Application (for some smartphone models). It also includes a fuel consumption display screen, automatic air conditioning system with touch control panel, and a One-Push Ignition System. The multi-function steering wheel offers a convenient-to-control audio switch and Hands Free Telephone Switch operated easily by a fingertip.
2. Fun to Drive and Performance Beyond its Class (Multi-Drive): The 4-cylinder, 16-valve 1.5L i-VTEC engine has 117 horsepower and maximum torque of 146 Newton-meters at 4,700 rpm. Combined with a new CVT transmission, driving is made more fun with a 7-speed Paddle Shift on the steering wheel and a Cruise Control function. The Eco Coaching feature is a fuel-saving driving display with an ECON mode helps the engine and transmission to work seamlessly together to ensure the lowest fuel consumption. The ECON mode also controls the air-conditioning and air ventilation in the cabin, adjusting it to coincide with the outside temperature for the most effective energy management. The all-new Honda Jazz is also compatible with E85 fuel.
3. Advanced Safety Standards (Multi-Safety): The all-new Honda Jazz is equipped with a G-Force Control (G-CON) body, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) in all variants. It also offers advanced safety with six airbags – Dual SRS Airbags, i-Side Airbags and Side Curtain Airbags.
4. The Answer for Multi-lifestyles (Multi-Utility): The Ultra Seat has four adjustable modes, which are Utility Mode, Long Mode, Tall Mode and the new Refresh Mode, in which the front seats can be folded to connect with the rear seats, offering the ultimate relaxation. They provide maximum storage in the trunk to meet the demands of all lifestyles, along with a maximum nine cup holders, a mobile phone holder and tablet box.
The all-new Honda Jazz is available in six variants: the S MT at 555,000 Baht; S AT at 594,000 Baht; V at 654,000 Baht; V+ at 694,000 Baht; SV at 739,000 Baht; and SV+ at 754,000 Baht. They come in six colors including Modern Steel Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Taffeta White and two new colors, which are Attract Yellow Pearl and Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic. Pearl colors cost an additional 6,000 Baht. The interior for all variants is black. The S, V and V+ variants have black fabric while the SV and SV+ come with black sport fabric.
Marketing communications for the all-new Honda Jazz is targeted at GEN ME, who have broad interests and represent the target group customer as it reflects the all-new Honda Jazz, which can fit all lifestyles. Honda has created an online campaign for GEN ME to define themselves with the “#NEWDEFINITIONOFME” campaign on Instagram and Facebook, which is gaining a lot of participants. Honda will also launch the #NEWDEFINITIONOFHATCHBACK commercial based on the idea of “Life is Never Too Much” to demonstrate that the all-new Honda Jazz is the hatchback that can respond to the needs of various lifestyles.
