A Masterful Residence in an exclusive location
The Pratumnak Hill area has blossomed into what many like to call the Beverly Hills of Pattaya. Of course you have to be aware that Beverly Hills is the exclusive domain of the wealthy and well-connected in Los Angeles, but Pratumnak Hill, while somewhat exclusive, is not just for the wealthy and well-heeled.
A new development which offers a mixture of comfort, serenity, and what might be termed luxurious affordability is Masters Residence. Located in Soi Regent 2, which is off Pratumnak Soi 6, this project will rise only eight storeys and consist of 118 masterful residences.
It’s a location that offers easy access into either central Pattaya or Jomtien and it’s not that much a walk to Dongtan Beach. Indeed the area has plenty of shops and restaurants, so much so a resident can be spoilt for choice.
While location and nearby attractions and facilities are considerations, it’s the apartment block itself which should be the focal point, and Masters Residence comes up trumps in this regard, especially when measured against comparable projects.
As mentioned, it is just eight storeys, and the whole is built around a professionally designed central atrium area, where water features will give a sense of relaxation. All 118 apartments will have exterior views and for an uninterrupted view across Pattaya Bay there is a rooftop infinity pool set among tropical gardens.
Masters Residence has a variety of apartment sizes designed to suit most budgets and lifestyle requirements. The smallest of the units are studios at 28sqm. Might sound small, but these days the professional designers who are employed to turn small spaces into fine living quarters do such a good job you’d be forgiven for thinking the area is larger than you imagined.
Current trends in the buying market tend to run to one-bedroom units. Here, the Masters Residence planners have created a selection of differing sizes, the smallest starting at 40.3sq m and the largest at 64sq m. Of course it is possible to purchase two one-bedroom units and have them combined to create a large two-bedroom/two-bathroom apartment.
All units are fully furnished, meaning a purchaser simply needs to turn up with a suitcase of clothes and attendant accessories and move in. Masters Residence’s furniture packs offer buyers a full set of electrical appliances, including an electric hob and refrigerator in the kitchen and an LCD flat-screen TV in the lounge area.
Sometimes a development is given a fancy name or title but really that moniker means next to nothing. Masters Residence is another to follow the current very sensible trend of not just choosing a fancy name but also creating a theme based around that name. As the name Masters Residence might suggest it has more than a passing flirtation with the old masters, that is, the famous artists of centuries past who created works of inspirational art that are now classics.
The design team for Masters Residence have worked on both the interiors and exteriors in an attempt to channel the creativity of master artists from the past. The crimson, grey and gold palette used by the designers is consistent throughout the project, giving the feel of a private, luxury, boutique hotel experience.
Of course price is probably still one of the main considerations for many people. Since Masters Residence is currently in its pre-launch phase, prices for the project are very affordable for the Pratumnak area. The smallest of the studios start at just 1,260,000 baht (with foreign ownership) while the 40.3 sq m units begin at 1,813,500 baht. Of course if you are prepared to buy through a Thai company then the deal is even better with some studios available at just 980,000 baht.
There is a showroom located on the southern side of Pattaya Third Road, just east of the flyover to Bali Hai Pier, which allows visitors to gain a better idea of the elegant and minimalist design and furnishing of the apartments. Masters Residence is due to be completed by the end of 2014.
