Hemingways (Jomtien) has already established itself as a very welcoming bar and restaurant located near to Dongtan Beach in Jomtien. Having only opened nine months ago it has achieved restaurant excellence in that short period of time and is all set for its first full high season in operation.
The bar has an oval shape to it and seating in alcoves is in place to give a sense of privacy. Contemporary décor, comfy chairs, booth tables and an outside terrace area complete the picture. The staff are very warm and friendly and will help you to choose the best dish.
Being the month of December, Hemingways have a special 3-course Christmas Day dinner for 995 baht. There is also a Thai option at 695 baht. Booking for this special occasion is advisable.

Monday is Quiz Night. A 1000 baht Hemingways voucher is up for grabs for the winning team in this friendly, free to enter quiz night. Also on Monday there is a steak special where you can enjoy a 200-gram Australian rib eye or Sirloin steak from just 395 baht.
Tuesday is Pizza and a Pint day where you can enjoy a pizza of your choice and a pint of Heineken or Tiger beer from 290 Baht. You can even change the beer to a house spirit or a glass of wine!
Wednesday is Curry Night where you can enjoy a tasty curry complete with Naan Bread and Rice from just 230 baht. You can choose from mild, medium or spicy curries according to your taste.
Thursday is Live Music night with Soulmates from 8.00 p.m.
Friday is Ladies Night and is also the Killer Pool night where entry is just 100 Baht. The Pool tournament starts at 8pm.
Saturdays Features Live Sports and Sundays feature Traditional Roast Dinners.
Hemingways holds a monthly free raffle where a total of 20,000 baht in Hemingways vouchers are given away. Twenty separate prizes ranging from 200 baht to 3,000 baht can be won. To enter at any time during the week, simply write your name, email address and mobile number on the back of your receipt and post in the raffle box. The results are posted on their website each month.
Not that you need an excuse to attend one of the specials, since the menu is all encompassing everyday. Look out for their cheese and bacon potato skins, French onion soup, chargrilled burgers, loaded nachos complete with guacamole, sour cream, jalapenos melted cheese and chili con carne, as well as their Philly cheese steak sandwich. As a family friendly place they also have a kids menu that includes fish fingers, chips and beans, chicken nuggets and mini burgers.
