The very first “Miss International Russia in Thailand” will take place on Friday 29th August at Pattaya’s newest 5 star hotel Centara Grand Phratamnak, and organized by luxury property developer Tulip Group.

Miss International Russia in Thailand will celebrate the beauty, style and elegance of Russian women. Last year, 1.2 million Russian tourists visited Thailand, with Pattaya being the top destination for most visitors.

Castings are being held in the spectacular lobby of Centara Grand Phratamnak, which has become a renowned venue for high society and other glamorous events.

“Centara Grand Phratamnak is very proud to be the venue for this exciting new beauty pageant, in cooperation with our owner Tulip Group,” says the hotel’s general manager Dominique Ronge. “This is a perfect opportunity to further build on the good relationship between Thailand and Russia.”

After all castings in Bangkok and Pattaya have been completed on 3rd August 20 contestants will then be chosen as finalists for the gala event on 29th August, with the winner being crowned Miss International Russia in Thailand 2014.

The first prize is Baht 200,000, with the second prize Baht 150,000 and third prize Baht 100,000.

Fashion TV as well as many other local and International TV stations have confirmed their attendance and support of the event which is sure to be an evening of glamour and luxury.

Tickets for the show and gala dinner on the hotels rooftop are limited to just 170 and are available at the hotel reception. In addition generous sponsorship opportunities are also available.

The first phase of Centara Grand Phratamnak Pattaya opened in October last year. The second phase, which will include Club rooms, Suites, a meeting room, and a beach house with Spa Cenvaree, will open in the third quarter of this year.
