The Lofts Ekkamai set to soar

The Stock Exchange of Thailand-listed development company Raimon Land has just launched The Lofts Ekkamai, an ambitious project that is set to further propel one of Bangkok’s emerging areas into a much sought-after address.

Raimon Land has given The Lofts Ekkamai an interesting tagline: Elevate above all limits. What they appear to mean is that this 28-storey development is going to take the increasingly popular Ekkamai area by the kind of storm only Raimon Land seem capable of making.

Let’s look at the important stats. First of all, as previously noted, The Lofts Ekkamai will be 28 storeys, contained in a single tower. It will have, approximately, 263 units comprising a mixture of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom places. Of course the top floor, the Loft, will be a prime position. There will be about 158 car parking spaces which should be more than ample for the complex.

Raimon Land recognized that they needed to create a building which would be more than just a residence for its occupants. It needed to be almost a self-contained lifestyle centre and so, for example, there will be male and female saunas. As well, the rooftop will have a resident’s garden complete with BBQ facilities, so home entertaining can take place both in the privacy of an apartment but also on the roof where great views of the urban metropolis will provide at least one talking point.

There will be an infinity edge pool, complete with sun decks for those looking to get a tan and don’t want to trek to a beach far, far away. The in-pool Jacuzzi is another subtle lifestyle touch.

There will also be a resident’s garden on the seventh floor; essentially this means there are two dedicated entertaining areas in the one building, both offering a different ambience for residents and their guests.

The Lofts Ekkamai will showcase the latest in apartment security. Apart from the standard expectation of 24-hour security complete with CCTV coverage. So front entrance access to the building is covered quite well. Yet, to add to the security, the high-speed elevators will have a floor-specific card access system to further prevent unwanted or unwarranted access.

The monthly maintenance fee is currently estimated at 40 baht per square metre per month, although this will be adjusted to market rates once The Lofts Ekkamai is complete.

The Lofts Ekkamai is set on 1 – 3 – 83 rai of land at Sukhumvit, so it is ideally placed within walking distance of the BTS stations of Ekkamai.

The project is squarely aimed at professionals and globe-trotting urbanites. Easy access to the best transport facilities in Bangkok, some fabulous restaurants within walking distance, and plenty of nightlife activities for the young-at-heart means the Lofts Ekkamai is set to become a much sought-after address.
