AEON and McDonald’s Announce New Payment Method for McDelivery

AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) Public Company Limited has partnered with McThai Company Limited, the operator of McDonald’s restaurants in Thailand, to introduce McDelivery mobile payment services allowing customers to pay by credit card from wherever they make their order.
Additionally, AEON is extending privileges on its recently launched “365 Days AEON…your endless happiness” with McDonalds, the leading global food service retailer, to include special deals on meal sets when eating at participating McDonald’s branches around Thailand.
“It gives me great pleasure in continuing our strong partnership with McThai, the operator of McDonald’s restaurants in Thailand. Since launching our AEON Easy Pay service in August last year we have seen a growing number of consumers show preference for mobile payments, and we are pleased McThai will be introducing the first mobile credit card payment for their popular McDelivery service. “In addition to the AEON Easy Pay services, we have also been working with McDonald’s to add exclusive privileges to our “365 Days AEON…your endless happiness” campaign for AEON credit cardholders, and our customers will be able to take advantage of special prices for McDonald’s meals at participating restaurants throughout Thailand,” he added.
AEON Easy Pay will allow all credit card holders to experience the benefits of mobile payments, a new way to pay that makes it simpler than ever to pay for McDelivery. During the campaign, AEON credit card holders will also receive a free McDonald’s corn pie when ordering though McDelivery Service and spending more than THB 100 by AEON credit card from today until 20th May 2014.
AEON credit cardholders will also be able to enjoy McDonald’s Extra Value Meals at special price only at THB 69 at participating McDonald’s restaurants, reduced from THB 139.
