CRC Sports, a subsidiary of Central Retail Corporation (CRC), Thailand’s number one sporting goods distributor and retailer, recently announced an exciting new partnership with the Authentic Brands Group (ABG), allowing it to attain sole distributorship of the Reebok brand in Thailand.

CRC Sports will be at the helm of all Reebok’s retail stores, e-commerce operations and wholesale distribution in Thailand, placing it front and center to advance unique growth opportunities for Reebok and setting it up for success as one of the top five sports brands in Thailand.
Mr. Tony Morton, President of CRC Sports Company Limited, said, “The heritage and potential of Reebok and its product portfolio supports our efforts to offer even more of the best sporting trends to the new generation. To have a world-renowned sports brand like Reebok in our portfolio helps to solidify our position as the go-to destination for sports apparel, shoes and sports equipment. We are very proud that ABG and Reebok have entrusted such a prestigious brand to CRC Sports.”
With a history that spans a century, the Reebok spirit has been driven by Olympians and top professional athletes over many decades. In more recent times, Reebok has continued to make its mark with an eye for style and a penchant for excellence. In 1982, it debuted the Reebok Freestyle aerobics shoe, the first athletic shoe designed for women. Then in 1989, the Reebok Pump became an instant iconic symbol and forebearer impacting the design and development of an entire new generations of shoes. It enabled Reebok to push through the 90s as a brand known for its technological innovations. Later on, the Reebok Nano supported athletes in high-impact movements like weightlifting and short-distance running. Following closely behind, the Reebok Floatride earned its reputation as the best shoes supporting lightweight, short tempo runs, as well as long-distance runs like marathons. More recently, Reebok has further expanded its portfolio into a hip and attractive line of shoes in modern, classic styles which remain timeless, such as the Classic Leather and Club C, which have become another two of Reebok’s iconic symbols.
Reebok returns to its roots this year by launching a bold new global campaign, “Life Is Not a Spectator Sport” which was originally debuted some forty years ago in 1984. The campaign aims to inspire and empower individuals to pursue their passions and participate in the world around them, in order to celebrate their individuality. This is highlighted by the Nano X2 exercise shoes, Floatride Energy 4 running shoes, and fashionable Classic Leather shoes. CRC Sports matches this global vision and energy to increase Reebok brand awareness in Thailand with a key focus on health-conscious consumers and building a passionate Reebok community nationwide. Many fun and inspiring activities and events are in store for sports enthusiasts in Thailand.
CRC Sports plans to expand the Reebok network to more than 100 locations this year, renovating five concept stores and enlarging Reebok’s online presence on Supersports.co.th, Reebok.co.th, as well as marketplaces with Lazada, Shopee and Central, aimed at reaching 20% of total sales for its online channels in 2022. For the convenience of its customers, CRC Sports will continue to offer several other channels to shop, whether through Click & Collect, Personal Shoppers, Call & Shop, Line Chat & Shop, and Facebook Live events to offer a true omnichannel retail experience for the Reebok consumers in Thailand.
