The wait is over! The first Dunkin’ Donuts Drive-Thru in Thailand recently opened at Porto Go, Bang Pa-in a famous layover avenue on the Asian route. With its “Coffee and more” concept, the brand is also aiming to expand its customer base in the digital 4.0 era.
Mr. Nadim Xavier Salhani, Chief Executive Officer of Mudman Company Limited, unveiled during the launch of the new Drive-Thru that Drive-Thrus are starting to gain popularity across Thailand, as additional convenience is the key in Thai people’s lifestyles and they’re now travelling even more than ever. At the same time, major fast-food and beverage companies in Thailand are seeking to expand their outlets. Dunkin’ Donuts is also seeking this opportunity to expand its drive-thru presence which aims to offer customers even more convenience when ordering food and beverages on-the-go.
During the last three quarters, Dunkin’ Donuts has expanded its store experience to become more than just a donut shop. Under the concept of “Coffee and more,” the brand has invested in broadening its menu with beverages such as 100% Arabica coffee, hot sandwiches, and bakery. As of now, there are 125 Dunkin’ Donuts coffee concept branches, and all branches in Thailand will be converted to the new concept in the future.
Miss Nobklao Trakoolpan, Managing Director of Golden Donuts Thailand Co Ltd, (Dunkin’ Donuts) said that this is an important step for Dunkin’ Donuts, as this is the first ever Dunkin’ Donuts Drive-Thru in Thailand. As of present, Dunkin’ Donuts has around 300 branches in Thailand. We are sure that this first Drive-Thru service will answer the customer’s needs and can certainly have an impact in the Thai market. Together with the convenience of shopping and the co-working space, that supports customers’ lifestyles and the speed of order processing, without having to waste time by parking their car. The Drive-Thru will offer customers more access to our donuts and beverages, including the perfect location like Porto Go, Bang Pa-In, a famous layover avenue on the Highway route.
