Thai Union Frozen Products Public Company Limited (TUF) the world’s seafood expert and owner of world’s leading seafood brands showcased their capabilities and a commitment in sustainable seafood industry at the world’s largest seafood exposition “Seafood Expo Global” recently in Brussels, Belgium.

Mr. Rittirong Boonmechote, Managing Director of Shrimp product group at TUF said, “TUF participated in this exposition to showcase cutting-edge capacity of a Thai company in competing on a global stage as highly proficient seafood producers and processors. We are a living proof that a Thai company can process and produce seafood products such as shelf stable (canned), chilled or frozen products to the highest international standards trusted and valued by millions of customers and consumers around the world. We continue to invest in research and development to innovate more comprehensive range of delectable products to adapt to changing trends in consumer lifestyles and satisfy them wherever they are in the world”.

TUF’s participation at the Seafood Expo Global this year is the 11th time since 2004. More than 25,000 participants comprising customers, trade partners, buyers, producers, importers and exporters representing 1,700 seafood companies from 145 countries worldwide meet annually in this massive 35,000 square meters exposition to look for seafood trade opportunity and new ideas for product innovation. This event in Brussels, the heart of Europe, is the world’s largest seafood exposition which TUF will continue to support and participate.

Mr. Boonmechote also said, “In addition to upholding our products to the highest international food safety standards, TUF, as the world’s leading seafood producer, is also committed to sustainable fishery – being responsible and accountable for the use of marine resources.
