TAT focuses on luxury tourists to drive tourism revenue and introduces Thailand Super Quality
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched its new website,
www.ThailandSuperQuality.com, as a marketing channel to provide tourism information to tourists. It hopes to draw interest from luxury and premium tourists with various marketing activities to promote Thai tourism on online community.
Mr Surapol Svetserani, the TAT governor, presided over the launching ceremony of the Thailand Super Quality project, which has main objective to promote tourism activities online for the high quality tourist market.
With viral marketing, online marketing campaigns on the new website will encourage luxury and premium tourists to visit Thailand and boost their spending. This group of quality tourists will get information and shop quality tourism products and services directly from operators, who will be able to build their customer base as well.
The Thailand Super Quality project is part of TAT’s digital marketing strategy. This year, TAT has adjusted its marketing plan to suit the change of tourist behavior and new-generation customers.
At the same time, the agency also has its major policy to lift up the standard of Thai tourism industry to become the destination for quality travelers. It will use the strength of Thai hospitality in both quality and service to attract tourists around the world through three keywords; 1) Super Sport & Leisure, 2) Super Hospitality and 3) Super Privilege.
A plenty of super quality tourism operators such as tour packages, accommodations, yacht, car transfer, spa, dinner and butler service will be gathered for tourist consideration on the new website.
Moreover, TAT will organize special activities on “Love every second in Thailand”, which is the campaign to allow tourists to share their wonderful travel experiences in Thailand. The sharing will be real time and tourists will be able to post their stories and pictures on the website around the clock.
There are a lot of tourists having good memories and happiness while visiting Thailand. Not only foreign tourists, Thai tourists can share their experiences as well. They can share their travel pictures through Instagram by putting Hashtaq (#) ThailandSuperQuality. TAT will have a lucky draw to give Super Quality gifts such as luxury tour package with air ticket to lucky persons every month until the campaign ends.
To provide convenience for tourists, TAT also has online concierge service to answer their questions in both Thai and English as well as providing information and coordinating with local tour operators upon the tourist request throughout 24 hours.
By doing so, tourists will have convenience and good experience while being in Thailand, so that they will chose to receive Thai tourism information in the future and may become regular visitors to the Kingdom.
