Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Reached A Cumulative Sales Volume Of Over 200,000 Units Worldwide

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport reached a cumulative sales volume of over 200,000 units worldwide

Mitsubishi Motors Thailand reports total sales volume of Pajero Sport which reached accumulate sales volume over 200,000 units worldwide while Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has announced to starts production of Pajero Sport in Russia.

Mr. Nobuyuki Murahashi,President of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Company Limited reports the total sales volume of Mitsubishi Pajero Sport that “Mitsubishi Pajero Sport got the warm welcome from Thai market and 71,835 units were sold since launching (September 2008-June 2013) contributed by 2WD model 55,074 units and 4WD model 16,761 units reflecting the product reliability. For export market, Pajero Sport rolled out in many regions around the world including Europe, Ocenia, Latin America, Middle East, Africa and other. It reached a cumulative sales volume of over 159,000 units as of the end of May 2013.”

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport was introduced to Thai market since August 2008. It has been designed under the Stylish Riding-On-Demand SUV concept for it value for money and also built with a unique design, leading edged technology, engine performance, safety features and versatile utilities. There are 2WD and 4WD choices which can be used for daily life.

Mr. Murahashi also adds about the production of Pajero Sport in Russia that “Due to the warm welcome of Pajero Sport in Russia market, recently Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) has announced commencement of Pajero Sport production at PCMA Rus in Kaluga, Russia, a joint-venture assemble plant owned by PSA Peugeot Citroen and MMC”

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport was first imported and sold in Russia in 2008. It has won acclaim in the Russian market for its combination of highly-acclaimed go-anywhere all-terrain performance, durability, as well as comfort of a passenger car; cumulatively selling over 24,000 units (as of end of May 2013). MMC aims to build on Mitsubishi Pajero Sport’s success in Russia through local production that caters more to the needs of Russian consumers, enhancing its marketability

Mr. Murahashi also reports MMTh performance in June that 6,179 Mitsubishi vehicles were sold in June contributed by Mitsubishi Triton 2,613 units followed by Mirage 2,076 units and Pajero Sport 1,052 units.
